OMG Presents Healthcare Interoperability: Focus on SOA and Modeling Workshop and Information Day

Needham, MA – May 16, 2012 – OMG®‘s Healthcare Domain Task Force presents “Healthcare Interoperability: 'Focus on SOA and Modeling' Workshop and Information Day;” a one-day special event on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge in Cambridge MA. The purpose of the one-day forum will be to present relevant case studies, explore available and emerging standards, and interact with peers from other organizations applying modeling- and SOA-based approaches to health interoperability. The workshop is primarily focused on a healthcare-interested audience, but much of the content presented has applicability into other vertical domains. The sessions will explore how these fundamental building blocks have been constructed and present use-cases on how they can be leveraged. Case studies and examples of open-source implementation will also be included. Event highlights include:
